NEW YORK, NY and DRAPER, UT - September 13 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- 2inspire Productions' today announced that Kamp NYC (www.KampNYC.com), an intensive, New York based performing arts workshop designed to hone the skills of talented young performers and shape them into Broadway-bound triple threats, today announced that it will take its workshop program On the Road to the talented teens, kids and young adults of Utah. Kamp NYC's 3-day On the Road Workshop will take place at Juan Diego Catholic High School, 300 east 11800 South, Draper, Utah, on September 29, September 30, and October 1, 2005.

"These students will have the benefit of a one-of-a-kind Broadway experience that you can only find in New York City," said Joe Loera, founder of Kamp NYC. "Kamp NYC On the Road is taught by New York professionals, and is designed to offer young actors, singers and dancers in Utah a chance to hone their skills, work with Broadway professionals, and noted casting director Sara Schatz of Dave Clemmens Casting. Our On the Road students will learn to act, sing and dance like professionals, and come a few steps closer to making their Broadway dreams come true."

The On The Road Workshop in Draper, Utah will culminate with a performance to raise money for the Red Cross to benefit the victims and survivors of Hurricane Katrina. Kamp NYC On the Road Workshop students will be joined in this benefit performance by other special guest artists including the Odyssey Dance Theater (www.OdysseyDance.com), a well-known and respected professional dance theater company based in Salt Lake City, Utah, led by Artistic Director Derryl Yeager. Tickets for this special night will be by donation.

"This performance is about the next generation of talented performers coming together with seasoned professionals and pooling their talent and experience to assist those that are so desperately in need," said Loera. "And as we are called 2Inspire, it's our hope that this rare opportunity to perfect their skills while at the same time giving something back to the community will inspire the desire to make similar creative and cooperative contributions in the future."
