When an addict finally realizes that they need help, they need to get this assistance in the days that follow - If not, one may expect the worst

TROIS-RIVIERES, Canada - Sept. 18 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- According to Narconon Trois-Rivieres (www.narconon.ca), a drug addict is a ticking time bomb, gambling with his life. When will that deadly overdose finally come? Another deception, and who knows how numb he wishes to become? Problems escalate at an alarming rate in the lives of drug addicts, and they return to the only solution they have found in years, drugs. So, when this addict realizes what he has become, all the harm it has caused, the deceptions and lies that resulted from his habit, it is a golden opportunity for rehabilitation.

Narconon Graduate Robyn LandersThis conversation took place on May 19th, 2006 between a Narconon intake counselor and a former drug addict:

Robyn: Hi, my name is Robyn. I'm addicted to crack, cocaine and alcohol. I'm a chronic relapser and I need help!

Kyle: You called the right place, we'll try to help you.

Robyn: I need to go to rehab now! I've just overdosed, returned home from the hospital... I feel like I'm dying... Literally!

Kyle: Ok... What's going on? Tell me your situation.

Robyn: I'm on a waiting list; I can't wait 3 to 8 weeks... I know I'm going to use again, and if I do, I'll die!

Kyle: We don't believe in waiting lists at Narconon. We can have you here tomorrow!

Robyn: What?? Really? That's a relief!
