JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Dec. 15 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Free Indeed Ministries, Inc., a non-profit trauma organization specializing in helping adult victims of childhood trauma and organized cult activity, has released an alert about an underground cult of extremist activity that is underway in Florida, specifically the Jacksonville area.

Alerts about the presence of subversive, cult group activity is one of the many services that the ministry offers to the community and to parents, civic organizations, and concerned citizens throughout the U.S.

This particular cult group is believed to be active in cult surveillance and the abduction of family members, specifically small infants, and children under the age of 10.

"It is believed that this particular group has infiltrated some of Florida's most respectable communities and operates behind the mask of organized business and civic organizations, including mainline churches," Dr. Lawrence Stanfield, president, Free Indeed Ministries, Inc., explained.

According to information that Free Indeed Ministries, Inc. has, suspicious operational fronts used by this group seem to be radio stations, churches, occult bookstores, and various day care centers and pre-schools.

Although the ministry does not yet have substantiated information sufficient enough to alert area law enforcement, it does have adequate information to alert the state of Florida, and specifically the Jacksonville community, to potential threat.

It is also believed that this cult group has affiliates in Pensacola, Tampa, Clearwater, St. Augustine, and bordering Georgia counties.

Suspicious activities to be aware of include: strange cars frequenting the community; children resisting going to day care or pre-school for unexplainable reasons; and, a suspicious number of cars gathering at a public facility such as radio stations or churches, after hours.

"Remember," Dr. Stanfield said, "Such cult groups operate just below the law enforcement radar and are seldom caught. The time has arrived when parents and citizens must remain alert for their safety and that of others. Be aware of your surroundings and know what is 'normal' and what is not."

Free Indeed Ministries, Inc. will release future updates on this alert.

In addition, the organization is working on the development of an interactive, national security alert bulletin board that will be posted on its Web site; it will provide ongoing updates regarding suspicious activities in communities across the nation.

Free Indeed Ministries, Inc. is a Florida 501c3; it networks with sister organizations throughout the country to combat cult intimidation and victimization.

If suspicious activity is apparent, please contact the local law enforcement agency, or dial 911, if deemed an emergency.
