At the Westin Hotel in Bellevue, WA, Growth-Minded LTC Financial Partners will “Scavenge” for Charity and Create 500 New Insurance Jobs

KIRKLAND, Wash., Jan. 8 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — What has a scavenger hunt got to do with helping local children and creating 500 new insurance jobs? Not much, you might say; but LTC Financial Partners LLC (LTCFP), a fast-growing insurance agency based in Kirkland, thinks otherwise. Says Jonas Roeser, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Operations, “While searching for camping items to give to youngsters, our sales leaders will start brainstorming how to grow the business and hire hundreds of really good new people.”

Jonas RoeserThe scavenger hunt, on Thursday, the 8th, will begin a 4-day conference that will end at noon on Sunday the 11th, at the Westin Hotel in Bellevue, WA. “Our sales managers feel good knowing they’re helping children,” says Roeser, “and within this upbeat atmosphere, we expect positive thoughts and plans to start flowing.”

At the end of the scavenger hunt, 100 backpacks will be filled with items such as flashlights, tooth brushes, toothpaste, washcloths, etc. The backpacks will be given to Rise n’ Shine (www.risenshine.org), a charity based in Seattle that provides emotional support programs, stability, advocacy, and AIDS education for children and teens affected by HIV/AIDS. The packs will be distributed to 100 youngsters who will attend summer camp this year.

“LTCFP is not new to giving back to charities,” says Roeser. The agency also supports the Rabuor Village Project (www.rabuorvillageproject.org) with a percentage of their yearly profits. “We also feel good about supporting our local community by injecting money into the local travel and hospitality industries.” For this conference alone, LTCFP is paying for 300-plus hotel rooms anywhere from two to four nights for the attendees, as well as meeting facilities, support services and local restaurants.

The brainstorming and team-building conference will be concluded by Robert S. Angel, the entrepreneur who invented Pictionary. Angel, a board member of Rise n’ Shine and investor in LTCFP, will speak on what it takes to be a successful business owner and how the scavenge hunt will support Rise n’ Shine.

Following the conference, LTCFP intends to implement a rapid-expansion program for 2009. “We’ll be recruiting hundreds of new agents to cover all parts of America including the Seattle area,” says Roeser. “As 77 million baby boomers approach retirement, and companies cope with an aging workforce, the need for long term care insurance is mushrooming,” he explains.

Adding 500-plus new agents will more than double LTCFP’s size, no small challenge, but in the past the company has proved capable of rapid growth. Inc. magazine recently ranked LTCFP No. 1,353 among all companies, and No. 12 in the insurance category, in its annual ranking of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the nation. Among insurance agencies, LTCFP is the fastest-growing one focusing exclusively on long term care insurance sales. “Last year, even in this economy, we grew 21 percent,” says Roeser.
