BOSTON, Mass. – Oct. 25 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — There is no parent who wants to think about anything happening to their child. That is why the staff at Bag-A-Bullet(TM) has recently launched a product line that will provide parents peace of mind while arming children with life-saving accessories.
The development of the Bag-A-Bullet(TM) product line is in direct response to the latest Amish-school shooting and to what is becoming one of the largest killers of American children today — guns.
“Our staff had a series of discussions following the shooting,” David Booth, CEO of PC Free, Inc., the company behind the Bag-A-Bullet(TM) concept, said.
“We started to discuss what types of affordable products were available to protect children in schools and upon due diligent research, came up with nothing.”
As a result, the Bag-A-Bullet(TM) product line was born. Products were researched, tested, and are now in the process of being marketed. Products include book covers, vests and accessories that are manufactured with the finest Kevlar Fabrics, and Level II Ballistic Fiberglass that will provide children with the ability to protect themselves from catastrophic injury, or even death.
Book covers are modestly priced and are designed to cover the “kill area” which is a 14-inch square from the top of a person’s head to the bottom of his heart. If this area is protected the chances of surviving any ballistic threat is greatly increased.
The book cover is 9 inches by 12 inches and will cover any standard size textbook used by elementary, high school or college students. When opened, it provides immediate protection to the student should they find themselves in a life-threatening situation where bullets are being fired.
“If parents take the ‘it will never happen to me’ approach,” Booth explained, “they may later regret not having provided their children with the proper protection should such a situation arise. The children and parents involved at Columbine and other school shootings probably never expected to be in that position either, but they were.”
Bag-A-Bullet(TM) is a new subsidiary company of Long Trail Acres Publishing, a division of PC Free, Inc., a privately-registered corporation in New Hampshire; Long Trail Acres, is a specialty niche-publishing company for military intelligence – foreign and domestic.
The staff at PC Free, Inc. has a combined military / intelligence background of over 50 years experience covering all United States military conflicts from Vietnam to the present war on terrorism.
Booth has over 30 years of experience in the publishing industry and has also been involved in numerous entrepreneurial start-ups; he is a veteran of the United States Army where he was an infantry solider.
