Shirley Thompson is an author who lives in Two Harbors, Minnesota with her husband Richard and three mischievous cats. Writing is how Shirley, who has four sons, copes with the stress of being the mom of a mixed family that wasn’t exactly the Brady Bunch, and a full-time caregiver for her husband, who suffers from MS. Shirley enjoys writing, and has always entertained her family and friends with humorous stories over the years. With their prompting, and at the urging of her sisters, Shirley finally decided to try writing as a second career. Shirley plans on using the loft of her new home, which has a fantastic view of Lake Superior, as inspiration for her writing.
