KALISPELL, Mont., June 8, 2015 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — JOSEPH EVE CPAs Partner Joseph Eve and Lindan Elliot will teach two sessions at the Tribal Gaming Regulators and Commissioners Level II Training Certification Series June 9, 2015 at KwaTaqNuk Resort Casino in Poulson, Montana.

The two sessions “Internal Auditing – What’s Required and How It Should Be Approached’ and “Financial Controls and Auditing Standards” are part of the NIGA (National Indian Gaming Association) Seminar Institute Certification Series.

Later in the month, Grant Eve CPA, CFE, and partner at JOSEPH EVE will be presenting “Title 31/BSA Risk Based Approached” at the Northwest Indian Gaming Conference, hosted by WIGA (Washington Indian Gaming Association) at Tulalip Resort Casino in Tulalip, Washington.

Eve’s session “Title 31/BSA Risk Based Approach” will address proper due diligence procedures with regard to customer’s source of funds and a discussion of a risk-based approach to Title 31.

“It’s evident that casinos need to embrace a risk-based approach to anti-money laundering, and there is no one size fits all approach,” said Grant Eve.

JOSEPH EVE CPA’s expertise in Indian Gaming accounting, compliance, regulations, and best practices is the reason they are regularly called upon to present at national and regional industry events.

“We are pleased that our commitment to research and the development of a variety of resources is valued by Native American Tribes, Associations, and Gaming Conferences,” said Lindan Elliott, CPA, CISA.

In addition to accounting and audit services, JOSEPH EVE is the developer of CasinoEdge powered by Intacct, a cloud-based casino accounting solution that allows CFOs and other stakeholders to receive daily flash reports from any device, streamline revenue audit, automate accounting processes and approval flow, manage multiple properties with ease, and take advantage of cloud computing benefits.
