COSTA MESA, Calif. /Send2Press Newswire/ — Makeup Artists with Empire Agency in Southern California are continuing the fundraising efforts for tsunami victims by donating their earnings. One hundred percent of Artists earnings from makeup services provided to clients and celebrities attending, appearing, or performing at the Grammy Awards and Academy Awards will be donated to Save the Children’s Tsunami Relief Fund.

Many Makeup Artists worked behind the scenes at the Tsunami Relief Telethon. They were extremely moved by the spirit, generosity, time and effort given by the talent for this great cause. Inspired by what the celebrities accomplished, the Artists found a way to give more than their one day’s donation of time at the telethon. Currently we have over 20 additional Makeup Artists who have committed to donating their entire paychecks from both events.

“The celebrities involved with the telethon did an incredible job raising awareness and funds for the Tsunami Relief. Since we don’t have the ability to persuade society to donate, we thought that we would continue to donate our time, talent and resources,” said Donna Mee, President of Empire Agency.

“This way, people that would be paying for the services anyway, will be getting a bonus. They’ll be helping victims of the tsunami, have a tax deductible write off, and look great while doing so! It’s a way for us to collaborate from behind the scenes and help the effort continue to be a great success.”
