SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., May 21, 2015 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — EPIC (Edgewood Partners Insurance Center), a retail property, casualty and employee benefits insurance brokerage and consultant, announces that Myesha Lamison has joined as Director, Benefits Technology as a part of EPIC’s growing national Employer Services Platform (ESP) team.
Lamison adds significant benefits, human resources management system and payroll administration knowledge and implementation experience to the EPIC team. She will be based in EPIC’s San Francisco office and report to John Gaffney, Operations Director of EPIC’s Employer Services Platform.
In her new role at EPIC, Lamison leads the Technology Solutions team, working directly with key clients and EPIC account teams across the country to drive benefit delivery strategies and effective technology solutions to client organizations.
“Myesha has an extensive skill set in client management, benefits strategy and technology solution design and delivery,” said Dana Liedel, Managing Principal of EPIC’s Employer Services Platform. “Her deep experience will help us grow and manage our expanding technology consulting services for clients. We are really excited to have Myesha on the ESP team.”
Before joining EPIC, Lamison worked in the benefits industry for more than 15 years, including most recently as Benefits Program Manager at Zenefits, as well as prior roles at United Healthcare and TriNet.
It was at TriNet where Lamison acquired a passion for combining technology with health benefits. She went on to serve as a technology consultant for two of the large private insurance brokers she supported while at TriNet.
Lamison earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Behavior and Leadership as well as a Master’s Degree in Organization Development from the University of San Francisco.
Professionally, she is a certified ACA Professional and a Certified Trainer for the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).
