Mr. Lampe is a partner at Womble Carlyle Sandridge and Rice, PLLC, Charlotte, North Carolina, and is a nationally recognized anti-predatory lending specialist who represents major consumer financial service providers in compliance, administrative and regulatory matters, as well as enforcement actions and litigation. He is a frequent speaker at national seminars and conferences on topics that include fair lending, predatory lending, mortgage compliance and risk management, and financial privacy. Mr. Lampe also leads ComplianceEase’s regulatory compliance research work, and is a ComplianceEase advisory board member.
Mr. Lampe is Vice-Chair of the Consumer Financial Services Committee of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section and served on the American Bar Association Predatory Lending Task Force. He is a Fellow of The American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers and is on the Governing Committee of The Conference on Consumer Finance Law. He is active in leadership of the Mortgage Bankers Association State Legislative and Regulatory Committee.
