Pelzer Corp. is a Boston South Shore based company dedicated to heighten the awareness and prevention of child abuse through education and public involvement and donates the “Journey” series to schools throughout the country.
Editorial Director Barbara Daniel of Time Warner Books Group UK completed the acquisition February 2005. Time Warner Book Group UK consists of Little Brown, Time Warner Books, Virago, Abacus, Orbit and Atom.

The “Journey” series was created more than twenty years ago by author Richard Pelzer and was only recently released for publication as a result of the author’s ability to finally talk about the real life of the Daly City, California Pelzer family. A previous publication entitled “A Child Called IT” (Health Communications 1996) partially describes one of the most abusive households in California’s history.

Author Richard Pelzer has been secured by several organizations as a quest speaker of child abuse prevention and awareness.
