Author, activist, producer, and playwright Timothy Allen Smith is a native of Philadelphia. Currently based in Los Angeles. Smith has built a reputation as a prolific story teller with an astonishing catalog of 74 stage plays and 3 award winning novels. Alongside super producer Melvin Childs, Smith’s plays have toured the country to record breaking success.

From iconic love stories like Love Jones the Musical to urban lit adaptations like Thugs and The Women Who Love Em, Smith has proven his versatility and ability to master any genre.
