Sloan Blecher grew up on a farm in Victoria, Australia, with many elements of that property described in his first broadly published book, ‘The Shadow.’ He now lives in Sydney, Australia, with his wife, children and dog. Besides working in rural environments, Sloan worked in finance, government and semi-government roles before spending many years supporting large corporates and multinationals in the services industry.

This work took him to a diverse mix of countries around the globe, where he developed a passion for different cultures and an even deeper appreciation of how someone’s formative years can influence one’s life; forever. Sloan enjoys writing about personal experiences and their consequences, many of which have been shared in ‘The Shadow.’
