The mission of the Bailey Contemporary Arts (BaCA) is to cultivate, incubate and nurture a vibrant visual arts community that enriches Pompano Beach and its goal of being a nexus of art, creativity, diversity, and inspiration.
The Bailey Contemporary Arts aims to serve as an incubator for artistic innovation and education, with the goal to amalgamate emerging local and national artists with industry professionals to elevate the creative process.
With a newly renovated facility, artists, residents and cultural organizations can now come together in Pompano Beach and use the power of creative expression to uplift, revitalize and build a stronger community.
Bailey Contemporary Arts is the located in the historic Bailey Hotel building, which was, at one point, the center of a thriving downtown in Pompano Beach. Built in 1932, the historic Bailey Hotel is the 2nd oldest remaining building (right behind the old Farmer’s Bank building next door), and is part of the longest contiguous collection of historic buildings in Broward County.

BaCA Artists to Present at Superfine! Miami 2017

Bailey Contemporary Arts Presents ‘Spiritual Vessels’
POMPANO BEACH, Fla., Nov. 29, 2017 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Bailey Contemporary Arts newest exhibit “Spiritual Vessels,” features the paintings of Tony Khawam and the clay ceramic sculptures of Jeff Whyman. Khawam’s new collection, “Syria – Aleppo Urban Landscapes,” presents a semi-abstract vision of Syria’s war-torn cities. Khawam invited Whyman to partner with him on this exhibit as he felt a spiritual connection between their works. The exhibit will run from December 1, 2017 through January 5, 2018. Pompano Beach’s Bailey Contemporary Arts and Ad Visual Arts Academy in Tehran Present ‘Frontier’ Global Exhibition
POMPANO BEACH, Fla., Aug. 28, 2017 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Bailey Contemporary Arts in Pompano Beach is proud to collaborate with Ad Visual Arts Academy in Tehran, Iran for a global exhibit of ceramic and mixed media works that explores the idea of “Borders” versus “Frontiers.” The first “Frontier” exhibition was held in Khaneh-Honarmandan, Tehran, one of the most prestigious art centers in Iran. In addition to the Iran-based exhibit, four international curators were called to collaborate and invite artists in their country to hold exhibitions.
