Indiana Virtual School is an Online Public Charter School funded by the Indiana Department of Education & formed out of the partnership between Daleville Community Schools & BCI, a non-profit Indiana corporation heavily involved in Indiana education since 1976.
Indiana Virtual School is an Indiana Public Charter School. That means we are approved by the Indiana Department of Education to operate as one of their public schools. It also means that we provide this education to Indiana students for FREE.
We are the only public charter school in Indiana to use the award winning curriculum developed by Pearson & Florida Virtual. This curriculum, which has won the prestigious Codie award, has been in existence for 14 years and is currently used by over 200,000 students across the country & around the world. All of our courses are fully on-line. Students choose from over 100 courses including core subjects, world languages, electives, honors, and Advanced Placement courses. Indiana Virtual School is NCAA approved.
Indiana Virtual is the only online, virtual JH/HS education program in Indiana created by public school teachers for public school students. Our teachers pride themselves on providing our students with the connections to achieve their future goals.
