Robin's priorities in Congress will focus on the economy, lowering inflation and boosting growth, improving education for all of Alabama's children, and securing our nation against internal and external threats. Above all, Robin will lead according to the values of Philippians 2:3:
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.
Robin Litaker served Alabama’s children as a teacher and principal in Mobile and Hoover City Schools for 32 years. The 1997 Alabama Teacher of the Year, she founded the Alabama Conference of Educators, serving as President (2002-2005) and Executive Director (2005-2008). She has been COO of Wise Technologies in Fairhope, and currently works as a catastrophic claims adjuster for Pilot Insurance.
Life-long Republican Robin has served on numerous state, regional and national boards. She has worked with legislators, governors, business leaders and the public, often standing up to powerful lobbyists and special interests to advocate for children and teachers.
Robin holds BS and MAT degrees from Winthrop College, an Ed.S Degree from the University of Montevallo, and received her Ed.D from Samford University.
Robin believes that God’s calling for her life has been to serve the people of Alabama. A resident of Homewood for over 30 years, she has family in Birmingham, Montgomery and Fairhope. She has numerous rescue dogs and cats, and considers herself a life-long learner.
