REXFORD, Mont., Oct. 20, 2015 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — The Ranch for Kids, a therapeutic program bringing hope and healing to families facing FASD and RAD, announced today that it is again fully licensed by the State of Montana.

In order to resolve previous building code concerns presented by the state and regain licensure, the Ranch for Kids program relocated to a fully commercial facility that complies with all state requirements. Licensure was granted by the Montana Board of Private Alternative Adolescent Residential or Outdoor Programs (PAARP), which oversees all of Montana’s therapeutic programs.

The new facility not only satisfies state requirements, it allows the Ranch for Kids to house its entire program under one roof in Rexford, Montana. The Rexford location is approximately ten miles from the program’s original headquarters in Eureka. The consolidation allows for increased efficiency, reduced commuting and the opportunity for kids in the program to better engage with their local community.

The facility, already leased by Ranch for Kids and used for schooling, has been fully renovated to allow for classroom, living and recreational space. The facility accommodates up to twenty-five children. In addition, Ranch for Kids is working to meet increasing need with a support and training program for families at the facility. “We are pleased to forge a partnership with the state that allows us to continue providing hope and healing to hurting families,” said Bill Sutley, executive director for the Ranch for Kids. “By uniting, we have created a solution that works for everyone while maintaining the consistency and excellence that guides children in our program toward a brighter future.”
