CLINTON, Tenn., Sept. 3, 2019 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Ray Varner, along with executives from Ford Motor Company’s Atlanta region stopped by and left Anderson County Career and Technical Center (ACCTC) with Anderson County Schools the keys to a 2013 Ford Focus SE. The vehicle was chosen to be donated in order for students with ACCTC to disassemble and reassemble as part of skill training in Auto Mechanic Maintenance and Repairs.

Part of ACCTC’s vision is to “empower students to become leaders, independent thinkers and lifelong learners.” The vehicle will be used for years to come to help the program teach skills and allow hands-on training as part of the Vision of the program.

In addition to Ray Varner, Ray Varner Ford was represented by John Miller, Parts and Service Director and representatives from Ford Motor Company included Willie Houston, Atlanta Region Field Engineer and Ed Wigginton, Atlanta Region Marketing Specialist. Robbie Herrell, Principal of ACCTC, Caleb Tipton, Principal of Clinton High School and Ben Downs, Principal of Anderson County High School accepted the vehicle.
Representing the School Board/Central Office in attendance were Dr. Tim Parrott, Director of Anderson County Schools, Jo Williams, Eric Snider and Kelly Meyers.
