The SecuGen Hamster Pro 20 has successfully passed tests for both dust and water ingress. These tests were performed by third party testing organizations in South Korea.
The Hamster Pro 20 is an ultra-compact, highly precise, rugged and yet very affordable fingerprint reader. SecuGen fingerprint readers have been widely deployed around the world in remote and challenging environments. In addition to being FBI certified as meeting FAP 20 image quality requirements for use with the U.S. government’s PIV applications as well as being STQC certified for use in the Indian Aadhaar program, the Hamster Pro 20 stands head and shoulders above the competition, now with IP65 rating, allowing it to be used in tough environments where water- and dust-resistance are necessary.
