Silicon Publishing Offers Custom Solutions and Development Training for Adobe InDesign CS3 Server
WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – May 11 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Silicon Publishing is announcing important updates to its custom Adobe(R) InDesign(R) Server solutions which now incorporate the latest features of Adobe InDesign CS3 Server software. Silicon Publishing is also expanding its services to include development training for clients who wish to build their own solutions based on Adobe InDesign CS3 Server.
“As InDesign Server has moved forward with CS3, Silicon Publishing will be able to offer customers greater valued solutions that include the key new CS3 features such as enhanced design and typographical capabilities, superior XML processing power, as well as a wider range of deployment options and greater scalability,” said Max Dunn, President of Silicon Publishing. “We also expect support for the Intel Mac platform will significantly increase as the wide range of publishers investing in Apple’s new hardware continues to grow.”
“It’s great to see Silicon Publishing supporting professional publishing customers with the power of CS3,” said Chris Kitchener, product marketing manager for Creative Solutions at Adobe. “They were automating InDesign long before the server version was even created and they have followed its evolution closely so it’s no surprise to see them at the forefront today with inventive solutions.”
Custom Solutions and Developer Training
While Silicon Publishing already offers turnkey custom solutions that don’t require any programming, they are also beginning to offer training in development in response to demands from larger organizations that have their own programming staff and wish to build their own solutions. Silicon Publishing expects to offer classes, starting in July 2007, in scripting InDesign CS3 Server, tailoring content to the platform and language requirements specific to each customer.
