ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 20, 2015 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Stetson Mansion Tours and Events announced today that it has been named a finalist in the first annual Bright House Networks Regional Business Awards in Central Florida. Stetson Mansion was named a finalist in the Small Business category for the awards, which honor the companies, organizations and people who have impacted, with their products, services, and thought leadership, the Central Florida community.
Winning businesses will be honored at a special celebration on March 19, 2015 at Rosen Shingle Creek.
Named “Florida’s Most Popular Tourist Attraction” by Trip Advisor, the Stetson Mansion is the largest, grandest and most historic home ever built in Florida before the 20th century. It was built by famed hat maker John B. Stetson who produced America’s most iconic symbol – the cowboy hat.
The three story 1886 Mansion has 10,000 panes of antique glass and some of the most intricate parquet floors in the world. Electricity was installed by Thomas Edison and it is one of the first homes in the world to be designed and built with electricity. Florida’s first luxury estate is completely renovated and still privately owned. It is open year round for tours and events.

Bright House Networks has teamed up with Chambers of Commerce in nine counties to host this event connecting local businesses in a celebration of best-in-class. Bright House Networks will award prizes totaling over $1 Million, including commercial TV production, air time, customer newsletter, and cash.
