NEW YORK, N.Y., Oct. 3, 2016 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — “The Online Movie Show with Phil Hall,” a weekly celebration of films and filmmaking, is being relaunched via a new channel and a new production outlet.
Starting this week, “The Online Movie Show” will be available on Mondays on the SoundCloud channel: https://soundcloud.com/onlinemovieshow.
Each half-hour episode will present original interviews with the creative talent on both sides of the camera, along with visits by leading film critics to ascertain the best choices in the theaters, on DVD and on the streaming channels.
The first line-up of guests include Peter L. Winkler, editor of the new book “The Real James Dean”; John O’Dowd, author of “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye: The Barbara Payton Story”; Rachel Mason, creator of the award-winning independent feature “The Lives of Hamilton Fish”; and silent film archivist and composer Ben Model.
Upcoming episodes will feature discussions of contemporary Christian filmmaking, the cultural impact of the Three Stooges and a celebration of 1970s adult cinema.
