DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. - July 19, 2004 /Send2Press Newswire/ -- Calling all animal lovers. Cleo Ganta,
a 75-year-old grandmother, is urging your help in finding her two dogs and her minivan. They were
stolen from the parking lot of a convenience store in Daytona over the weekend. The dogs, two
purebred female Shih Tzus, are named Muffin and Trinket. Muffin is 14 years old and Trinket is 5.
They are mostly white in color with some brown and gray patterns.
The dogs are good-natured and a major comfort to Ganta, whose husband Charles, age 89, has recently

"These dogs are like my kids. They are my life and I am worried sick about them," said Ganta.
The incident happened around 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 17. Ganta, who carries two sets of keys,
locked her car and left it running when she went inside the Citgo located at 895 N. Nova Road in
Daytona. The vehicle is a 2001 silver gray Chrysler Town & Country minivan. No description of the
thieves is available.
