International Travel Rebounds In 2004
CHICAGO, IL - August 4, 2004 /Send2Press Newswire/ -- iExplore (www.iExplore.com)
announced today that it has begun to see a rebound in sales for more exotic
international destinations. Places like Vietnam, India, Cambodia and Namibia
have moved into its top ten best sellers list in July 2004. This is the first
time since prior to 9/11/01 that any of these destinations have returned to
iExplore's best sellers list.
iExplore founder and CEO, George Deeb, said "Prior to 9/11, the more exotic a
destination, the better it sold. Since then, Americans have been more cautious
in their travel choices given world events and have been traveling closer to
home. Looks like 2004 will be the year Americans started exploring the farther
corners of the world again."
Other top ten sellers in July 2004, included perennial favorites Peru, China,
France, Antarctica, Chile and the Galapagos Islands.
Founded in 1999, iExplore (www.iExplore.com) is the leading online seller of
adventure and experiential travel and is associated with National Geographic, an
