Muzak Helps Save Rock-n-Roll - Joins Little Steven at Underground Garage Festival
NEW YORK, NY and CHARLOTTE, NC - August 10, 2004 /Send2Press Newswire/ -- Muzak (www.muzak.com) has joined in the
effort to save rock-'n'-roll by signing on as an official sponsor of the Little Steven
Underground Garage Festival. More than 40 rock-n-roll bands will perform at the festival
Saturday, August 14, at Randall's Island in New York City.

Little Steven Van Zandt, member of Bruce Springsteen's E-Street Band and the cast of HBO's hit
series The Sopranos, is producing the event to support his personal mission to revive
interest in the genre of garage band rock. Van Zandt is also serving rock purists and
creating an upsurge of new fans through his popular syndicated radio show, Little Steven's
Underground Garage, carried by more than 200 stations nationwide.
Jack Black and George Carlin are co-hosts and emcees of the festival which will feature bands
such as Bo Diddley, The Romatics, Iggy Pop, The New York Dolls, and The Strokes.
Muzak is sponsoring the festival VIP tent.

than a rock-n-roll festival, so the opportunity to support Little Steven makes perfect sense.
