immediate availability of AuthAgent X.509 and AuthAgent RADIUS, the most recent additions to
TeamF1's increasing list of lean-footprint, pre-fabbed embedded software products. AuthAgent
RADIUS and AuthAgent X.509 are two standards-based technology implementations that allow
embedded devices to be authenticated using enterprise-wide databases and ensure the authorized
use of key network resources.

TeamF1's Growing AuthAgent Family
A client implementation of the popular Remote Authentication Dial In User Service (RADIUS)
standard, AuthAgent RADIUS interacts with enterprise authentication databases to decide whether
the embedded device it is used in should grant privileges or not. AuthAgent RADIUS provides a
powerful yet simple mechanism to secure everything from VPNs to wireless networks when used in
conjunction with protocols that secure the network path.
AuthAgent X.509 is an embedded, modular authentication framework based on X.509 digital
certificates. It can be used with diverse security technologies requiring digital-certificate
based authentication, such as SSL and SSH for secure device management and IPsec for layer 3
security, as well as in custom applications including consumer electronics devices, network and
storage equipment.
Availability
AuthAgent RADIUS and AuthAgent X.509 are immediately available for full source, royalty-free
licensing directly from TeamF1 or one of its channel partners. They are supported on popular
embedded operating systems including VxWorks® and pSOSystem®.
