KSMEDIA* AND TRACTOR BREWING COMPANY CREATE SILLY YET TASTEFUL ADS TO PROMOTE A LOCAL MICROBREW IN A MARKET DOMINATED BY NATIONAL MACRO BREWS
ALBUQUERQUE, NM - October 21, 2002 /PRnetwire.com/ - GKSmedia*, a full service advertising and production company, announces the launch of a new Cable advertising campaign to promote the locally owned and operated Tractor Brewing Co. and to make a ripple in a market saturated with big business macrobrews.
They've produced 3 entertaining and head turning TV spots. The ads are meant to build Tractor's brand awareness in the local bar and restaurant scene.
"Local bars should serve local beers." Says Nick Pecastaing of GKSmedia* "Why not support the local economy by providing high quality products like Tractor Brew, which is produced right here in Los Lunas, NM?"
The stars of these commercials include local farmers, Tractor's brewmaster, and the same tractor used in the world famous country western video "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy." They were filmed on location in the middle of a very scenic Los Lunas field. This commercial trilogy includes goofy parodies of an old west showdown for a Tractor beer and an exciting yet silly action sequence of the tractor plowing down some tables and chairs.
Heavy machinery and beer sound like a combination asking for trouble. However, GKS pulls off the ads with a tasteful, "down-home" and light-hearted local feel. Everyone that sees these ads will definitely remember the name "Tractor" and their slogan "Get Plowed!"
These ads will be airing from October 21st through New Years on the Comcast Cable network on stations like VH-1, Comedy Central, and FX.
Tractor Brewing Co. is a medium sized microbrewery in Los Lunas, NM. Herb Pluemer is the owner and Mike Campbell is the Brewmaster AKA "The Beer Farmer"ª. They boast all natural beers with a fun farm theme. The brewery is known as the "Beer Farm" ª, where "The Kegs are Harvested." Here there are full sized antique tractors and collectable models parked inside and all around. They've won many awards including this years "Best Beer" at the Citadel beer fest. They pride themselves on brewing delicious "big" beers with all natural ingredients. They even use honey, produced at a local bee farm, in their popular Haymaker Honey Wheat ale. The beer is on tap in many Albuquerque bars and restaurants like O'Neil's, Copper Lounge, and Texas Land & Cattle to name a few.
