FATHER OF GUERRILLA MARKETING, JAY CONRAD LEVINSON TEAMS WITH READERS RADIO TO
LAUNCH THE "NANOCASTING SYSTEM" - THE ULTIMATE GUERRILLA MARKETING WEAPON FOR
AUTHORS
"Killer application" builds a direct channel between writers and readers and
opens new possibilities for the publishing industry.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Feb. 26, 2003 /Send2Press Newswire/ -- JackStreet Media
announced today that the company has teamed with Jay Conrad Levinson, the
founder of Guerrilla Marketing to launch JackStreet Media's breakthrough
Nanocasting System (tm). The system combines digital broadcasting and a system
for hyper-targeting the listening audience called Nanocasting. Nanocasting has
been proven to dramatically increase direct response rates by targeting the most
highly receptive audiences. Where broadcasting typically yields a 1 in 100,000
response rate, Nanocasting can yield a much as a 1 in 10 response. Under the
terms of the agreement, Levinson's Guerrilla Marketing books, The Guerilla
Marketing Tool Kit and the Guerilla Marketing Network will be distributed on
JackStreet's Readers Radio Network which uses the Nanocasting System.
"We are honored to have teamed with the Jay. He is a living marketing legend and
his proven guerilla marketing ideas factored heavily into the development of our
pioneering Nanocasting model. Building on Jay's expansive experience, we have
now developed the most powerful guerrilla marketing tool in existence," says
Errol Smith, founder of JackStreet Media.
JackStreet Media began developing the Nanocasting System in 2000 when the
company launched its Digital Broadcast Network (DBN), then expanded the program
this winter with the launch of the Readers Radio Network. Readers Radio is a
global network that broadcast streaming interviews with authors "on demand" to
listeners in 96 countries around the world.
"JackStreet Media's concept of Nanocasting just blows me away! It's real. It's
sensible. It's economical. And it's a major breakthrough for any business or
individual that wants to get maximum profits from marketing. I think it's as
revolutionary a concept as the idea of positioning back in the l980s," Said Jay
Conrad Levinson the father of the Guerrilla Marketing phenomenon.
JackStreet Media will first deploy its Nanocasting System on Readers Radio a
global network designed to help authors bypass traditional book marketing
channels and sell directly to readers. "Authors are increasingly finding
themselves disconnected from their potential readers with no cost effective way
to reach them. They have manuscripts or maybe even published books just sitting
around collecting dust as they as they struggle to find ways to get their books
onto the radar screens of readers. The ability to self-publish has only
increased the glut of unsold books sitting in warehouses and basements. We are
happy to announce that we have successfully built a new bridge between writers
and their readers," says Smith.
As part of the agreement, JackStreet's Nanocasting System will be made available
to Levinson's network of guerilla marketers. "The Guerrilla Marketing Network
and Guerrilla Marketing International are delighted to be connecting with
JackStreet Media to give even more firepower to small businesses. Together,
we'll be helping give wings to businesses with big dreams but tiny bank
accounts," said Levinson.
