Leadman Electronics to be the Exclusive Distributor of the Intel(r) Award-Winning Play@TV
SANTA CLARA, CA - December 15, 2003 /Send2Press Newswire/ -- Leadman
Electronics, USA Inc. (www.leadman.com) announced today that it has
become the exclusive distributor of the Play@TV digital media adapter
(DMA) in the US Market. Play@TV is a new innovative digital media
adapter that allows the enjoyment of multi-media files (including MP4,
DIVX, etc) from a PC to any home entertainment system. By utilizing a
wireless (80211.b) or 10/100 wired network, users can access DVDs, music
files, videos and pictures stored on a PC to virtually any location in
their home.
Media files such as MPEG4, MP3, and JPG are stored and maintained on a
user's PC with Play@TV's user friendly media organizer. The user then
simply accesses the movies, music or videos they wish to enjoy with a
simple remote control from any comfortable location.
By integrating the PC world with home entertainment, Play@TV is the
catalyst that is making the dream of the digital home one step closer to
reality.

Pre-orders began being accepted December 1, 2003 with shipments to

separate wireless LAN card is available for $29. A software version of
this product (with remote control) will soon be available for $49.99.
