SRG of Colorado Springs wins $22 Million Contract With The United States Department Of Commerce
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - Feb. 24, 2004 /Send2Press Newswire/ -- Systems Research Group, Inc. (SRG -
www.srgcorp.com) of Colorado Springs, CO announced today the company has received the award of a
multi-million dollar contract with the United States Department of Commerce. The contract was awarded
through the Mountain Administration Support Center in Boulder, Colorado. SRG was chosen to fulfill the
Forecast Systems Laboratory (FSL) contract for the next 5 years, beginning February 22, 2004.
FSL is one of the research laboratories in the Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR) of the
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), which is an agency within the US Department of
Commerce. FSL transfers new technology and research findings in atmospheric, oceanic, and hydrologic
sciences to NOAA's National Weather Service (NWS) and other users of environmental information.
SRG will provide Information Technology Systems Support for Research and Development, as well as the
Operation of the NOAA Profiler Network for FSL. SRG has sole contractor responsibility for systems
administration, computer hardware operations, applications development, and support for research and
development.
