Lyamec Corporation Spins off US-Libyan Business Council
Houston, TX - April 16, 2004 /Send2Press Newswire/ -- US Based Lyamec Corporation
(www.lyamec.com) has officially spun off its corporate network to a newly christened US-Libyan
Business Council. The spin-off is a part of a larger restructuring brought on by forward-
looking and seasoned business executives from the private sector in the United States. The
mission of USLBC is to become the focal point for the exchange of trade and investment
legislation and regulation issues of mutual interest between the private and public sectors in
the US and Libya.
In a prepared statement by the Lyamec Corporation, the company said: "We have come highly
encouraged by the aim, vision, and determination of Mr. Seif Qaddafi. The spin-off was based on
a strategic and forward-looking approach complementing this very objective. This latest

The Lyamec Corporation, a Texas Corporation, was established in 1999, to fulfill the existing
and expanding demand for US made products for specific Libyan market segments as outlined by
President Clinton in 1999.
